How-to make the Blondies Blondtini:
Featured on Split Ends.

This drink was created with flavors that I enjoy. Fruity, fizzy and fun! It is simple to make - so bottoms up!

Ingredients:
Bacardi Rum
Dole Orange Pineapple Juice or Pina Colada Juice
Sprite or Sprite Zero (for a Skinny Blond-tini)
Grenadine
Cherries or Orange Slices for garnish

I make this in a pitcher with ice. Measure out 10-12 shots of Rum, pour in 4 cups of juice, 1/3 of a 2 ltr. bottle of Sprite or Sprite Zero (for less calories) and Grenadine to make it as pink as you like.

Pour over lots of ice and garnish with a cherry or orange slice. I have enjoyed this with many different types of juice but the pineapple orange is my favorite and it is how I make it at Blondies. The fun thing is you can experiment with the amounts of juice and Sprite and make it the flavor you enjoy. The best part is the taste testing! Have fun and drink responsibly.

Ok ladies - here is what you all have been asking for!
How to get the Mac Daddy 10 Brush Blow Out and how it got its infamous name.
For starters Gina and Amy of Blondies the Beauty Shop hair salon in Denver have been teaching and performing the mega-brush blow dry for years. It has been called many different names, including The Lock Down, The Supermodel, The Rocker, but I think this one tops them all. Not only does it give you a smooth finish, it also locks in volume for days. I believe Tara is responsible for the latest name of the infamous blow dry and here is what you need:

For Thick or Coarse Hair

1. 5-10 boar bristle brushes in varying sizes (we like the Marilyn Brushes)
2. wide tooth comb
3. leave-in conditioner and light hold hair spray (try Ciment Thermique and Double Force by Kerastase)
4. optional: smoothing serum for curly hair (Oleo-Relax Serum by Kerastase)
5. sectioning clips
6. Super Solano blow dryer

For Fine or Silky Straight Hair

1. 5-10 metal or ceramic brushes in varying sizes
2. comb
3. lightweight leave-in conditioner (Try Lait-Nutri Sculpt by Kerastase)
4. volumizer or mousse (Volumeactive spray by Kerastase or Texture Expert Mousse for fine hair by L'Oreal)
5. Super Solano blow dryer

Start by putting your leave-in conditioner on the hair and combing it in. Use desired product for your specific hair type. For curly hair: Section the top of your hair with the clips and leave the bottom layer down. For fine hair: Start to power dry the roots of your hair till 50% dry. Continue by sectioning the top of the hair with clips and leaving the bottom layer down.

Take your first section of hair from one side. Blow the air away from your scalp and down the hair shaft. Keep tidy sections only as big as the width of the brush. This will keep you from tangling the hair. Once the section is dry roll the hair on the brush and keep in till cool. Move on to the next section and continue taking hair down from your sectioning clips.

Use your biggest brushes at the base of the head and the smaller brushes at the crown for more lift. When you blow the front of your hair out take all your sections forward. Do this last since it will be in your eyes. When done push your hair in the direction it lays. This will keep you from getting that extreme parted look and give it a more sweeping effect.

Always throughly dry each section. For added volume you can spray each brush with light hold hair spray. As you remove the brushes, use your cold shot on the dryer for shine.

Results: Fabulous, shiny, volume-filled style that will last!
